RCCG National Overseer Tasks Christians on Righteousness

The National Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Nigeria, Pastor Obayemi Joseph has called on Christians to imbibe the life of righteousness to enjoy the favour of God.

He made the call on Monday in Lokoja during the official inauguration of Redeemers Men’s Fellowship and a Special Anointing Service, held at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Kogi Province 3.

Pastor Obayemi maintained that the situation at present is a wake up call for all Christian men to leave their comfort zones and stand up as “soldiers of Christ”.

He expressed worries that many Christian men of today were relapsing in their spiritual duties thus leaving the women to take the lead.

The clergyman who preached on a message titled, “Anointing for Grace”, urged Christians to strive for grace to enable them enjoy unstoppable favor and riches from God.

Pastor Obayemi charged believers to run away from all forms of sin, pointing out that the grace of God does not come freely and would not work where sin abounds.

The Special Anointing Service which drew worshippers from within and outside the state, had the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Mrs Folashade Ayoade Arike and other top government functionaries in attendance.

The anointing  service featured special prayer sessions for the government and people of Kogi State and Nigeria as a whole.
