Daddy GO, Bamiloye, Others to Grace RCCG Youth Convention 2017

It has been confirmed that the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, Pastor Folu Adeboye and the Co-founder of Mount Zion Film Production, Mrs. Gloria Bamiloye, Director General Bank of Industry, Kayode Pitan, and renowned gospel artiste, Nathaniel Bassey will grace the National Youth Convention of RCCG 2017.

The statement was confirmed in an interview granted by the Assistant General Overseer of Youth Adult and Young Affairs Worldwide, Pastor Peter Amenkhienan.

This year’s Youth Convention is tagged “Agents of Transformation” and thousands of youths from Africa, the United Kingdom, Kenya, South Africa and the United States of America will be present. There will be a National Youths Sports festival, transformation challenge, the Redeemed Initiative Skill and Empowerment (RISE) programme, and an award ceremony for youth and young adult churches who have given their best corporate social services within their immediate communities.

The convention will help in building young people with godly character and integrity which they need to excel in this present time. RCCG aims at building leaders that will make their country proud globally, Amenkhienan stated.

Teenagers, undergraduates and the young at heart are the target for the convention, as the former youth convention had helped to reduce unemployment and social vices among the youth based on feedback from participants.

He added that even though some youth in the society have misused the privilege given to them by both public and private sectors, there still remain some making great impacts.

He stressed: “In RCCG, we emphasize that success without integrity is no achievement. We don’t have bastards in RCCG. There are pockets of people in politics who have not soiled their hands with corruption.”
