Church Prays Against Secession and Insecurity in Edo

A church in Edo State, The Metropolitan College of Bishops from Church of God Mission International (CGMI) has held prayers for the country. The prayers were held to intercede for Nigeria in matters relating to insecurity and secession calls in the nation.

Archbishop Benson Idahosa’s son, Bishop Feb Idahosa led the prayer meeting at King Square, Benin City.

The Bishop addressed the attendees thus, “Nigeria is under threat as a result of insurgency and insecurity to life and property.  We know that the spiritual controls the physical and time is of the essence. We are here to seek divine intervention for mercy upon our land and people.”

Furthermore, he emphasized that for Nigeria to attain the greatness she is capable of, fervent prayers are necessary.

To this end, prayers were rendered that the violent mass killings would end. And that peace would once again reign in Nigeria.
